From seasonal illnesses like flu and COVID-19 to rising concerns like measles, we make it easier to stay informed, connect with others, and take simple steps that protect the people you care about.

Life Unites Us

Lead designer

Life Unites Us is fighting to end the stigma around addiction in Pennsylvania. A crucial step in reducing substance use disorder, including opioid addiction and overdose rates, is to confront and correct stigma, or harmful perceptions and societal stereotypes about addiction. We do this by sharing the real stories of those living with addiction across our state. Together, our voices have the power to inform, uplift, and save lives.

Life Unites Us is a partnership between the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP), the Douglas W. Pollock Center for Addiction Outreach and Research at Penn State Harrisburg, and the nonprofits PGP (The Public Good Projects) and Shatterproof. The effort is supported by organizations, coalitions, and service providers who have already been doing amazing work to fight the opioid crisis across the state. With individuals, families, communities, and organizations all working together, we can end stigma and remove the barriers to successful treatment and recovery for all who need it.

Life Unites Us is fighting to end the stigma around addiction in Pennsylvania. A crucial step in reducing substance use disorder, including opioid addiction and overdose rates, is to confront and correct stigma, or harmful perceptions and societal stereotypes about addiction. We do this by sharing the real stories of those living with addiction across our state. Together, our voices have the power to inform, uplift, and save lives.

Life Unites Us is a partnership between the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP), the Douglas W. Pollock Center for Addiction Outreach and Research at Penn State Harrisburg, and the nonprofits PGP (The Public Good Projects) and Shatterproof. The effort is supported by organizations, coalitions, and service providers who have already been doing amazing work to fight the opioid crisis across the state. With individuals, families, communities, and organizations all working together, we can end stigma and remove the barriers to successful treatment and recovery for all who need it.
